Below are some of the processes that you can use to take your stock packaging from mundane to magnificent.
Acid etch frost- a process of exposing the glass surface to a caustic acid in order to etch the surface. There is no residual coating, and the glass surface is permanently altered.
Spraying- a process of applying specialized inks to coat the glass using a number of techniques to achieve a wide variety of finishes. The inks can either be opaque ceramic, which are cured at a very high temperature which fuses to the surface of the glass or organic , which are cured at a much lower temperature and are bonded to the surface. Organic inks can range from a light transparent tint to fully opaque and have a much wider color range than ceramic.
Silk Screening -a process of applying inks to a component by pushing inks through a screen mesh. Inks can be ceramic, organic or precious metals and can be applied over a frost or sprayed surface. Both bottles and caps can be silk screened.
Hot Stamping- For glass this a 2-stage process of applying a metal foil onto glass where the foil bonds to a previously screened base substrate using a heated mechanism.
For caps and other plastics this is a 1 stage process of applying a foil via the use of a custom heated die plate.
Labels -The application of both pressure sensitive or heat transfer* labels to a component. Labels can offer you the best photorealistic graphics to fully realize your branding vision.
*-Heat transfer labels not currently available for glass application.
